Significant refurbishment works and two new leases

Following recent refurbishment works to their factory unit, company Alloy Heat Treatment has extended their lease by 10 years, whilst taking on another unit at Grazebrook Park industrial park in Dudley.

Alloy Heat Treatment has been tenants on Grazebrook Park for over 25 years and their recent extension of their lease demonstrates a continued commitment and satisfaction with the services provided by the family run industrial Park. Situated in Dudley, at the heart of the West Midlands, Grazebrook Park is a popular and well established development providing high quality units for trade and industry. The park is a family business which was established in 1939 by Arthur Knowles. Now run by Arthur's son and grandson team Graham and David, the park continues to thrive.

Alloy Heat Treatment is one of the parks longest standing tenants who now occupy just over 80,000 sqft of industrial space. The company provides a specialist heat treatment service of aluminium products for the motor and aerospace industry. The company has built up a reputation as a first class supplier and holds a vast array of quality approvals including NADCAP certification.

In partnership with Grazebrook Park, Alloy Heat Treatment has just commenced significant renovation works to their building which will enable a more enhanced use of the space. Grazebrook Park prides itself on a friendly and flexible business ethos with all of its clients, and this latest renovation work demonstrates their willingness to support the plans of its tenants. Alloy Heat Treatment has now extended their lease on this unit for a further 10 years, securing their rental costs and maintaining their established base on this industrial estate, known for its high quality units and the lowest service charge in the West Midlands.

Furthermore, a 10,000 sqft unit at the industrial park, which only become available several months ago, has just been secured as a new venture for Alloy Heat Treatment. Having recently signed a 10-year lease for this lofty unit, which is situated in a surprisingly picturesque setting adjacent to the Dudley canal, the company is partnering with Thermal Engineering Services to establish a new company (Alltherm Ltd) which will design and supply industrial process heating equipment.

Owner and Managing Director of Alloy Heat Treatment Adrian Church speaks of how well the working relationships and ethos at Grazebrook Park suit his business’ requirements:

One of the real benefits of being on this site is that the landlord has a real understanding of the changing needs of local manufacturing business. As a result I have always found that there is a willingness to approve changes that may be required when new plant and equipment is installed. The whole attitude seems to be one of helping where they can rather than rigidly applying every minor term in the lease.
