De-Met acquires Dudley industrial unit at Grazebrook Park

Situated at the heart of the West Midlands, Grazebrook Park industrial estate in Dudley has welcomed another new tenant to its high quality, well-established development.

Local sheet metal fabricator De-Met Ltd, has taken 16,388 sq ft of high quality industrial space at the estate’s largest industrial unit in Dudley.

Formerly based in Kingswinford, the company has signed a 5 year lease on Unit G, the most modern of Grazebrook Park’s industrial units. Following the purchase of a successful local powder coating company, De-Met decided to combine its operations under one roof, allowing the firm to consolidate its two manufacturing plants into one single industrial unit in Dudley.

Benefitting from a single-storey crane bay, suspended ceilings and filon lighting panels, the modern refurbished industrial unit will provide De-Met with greater space and a better working environment.

Speaking of the relocation, Gary Trim, Managing Director of De-Met said, “Our new premises at Grazebrook Park have provided us with a more cost effective space solution. Whilst we were initially attracted to the development due to its flexible approach, the friendly family business structure has enabled us to establish a really good working relationship with the owners, Hulbert Properties. Not only have they been extremely approachable, but we have already found them helpful and accommodating in terms of getting our factory operations up and running. By combining our two companies under one roof, we hope to achieve greater space efficiencies, more productive working practices and value-for-money occupancy costs.”
